The Pregnancy Resource Center of New London County is a community-focused organization that provides assistance, hope, and help to women and girls who are currently experiencing or believe that they might be faced with an unplanned pregnancy. We offer free pregnancy testing, limited OB ultrasounds, and many other services.
We also offer information about abortion services and abortion alternatives, including adoption. No, the PRC is a community-funded organization that provides its services free of charge. If you visit the PRC for any reason, you can be confident that doing so will not cost you a penny. You will not need insurance or to pay any fees.
I need proof of pregnancy for insurance/financial aid purposes. Can the Center help with that?
Yes, we definitely can. All that is required is for you to come in and take a free pregnancy test. If it ends up being positive, we can provide you with the necessary documentation.

The PRC does not provide abortion services, nor do we refer for them. We can, however, provide you with a lot of information to consider before proceeding with the procedure. Our qualified staff is also available to talk with you about your situation and to provide insight that might help you to make the best decision for you. There are a lot of options to consider, and a lot of very important choices to be made—we can help you as you navigate them and make the choice that’s best for you.
